Wonderful hamburger with the lot. Beautifully cooked beef patty, egg, bacon, beetroot, pineapple, lettuce tomato, cheese, sauce. ($13.50). For the quality & size (huge) - a BARGAIN. Having travelled extensively through Australia during the last 18 months - My BEST burger experience in the whole country. (Did not get to WA or Tassie.) I had one last year here, & had to detour through Roma on the way to Darwin for another hit. Not disappointed. Work every extra km. Today - my 2nd in three days. SO GOOD. Very friendly service also BTW. James
Had a great experience today. Lovely and friendly staff. Great food. Definitely worth the $$. Would definitely recommend. Photos show battered Barramundi and crumbed Coral Trout. Both with potato salad and crunchy chips.
Hey, hey! What a delicious surprise. 😊 I had the Fish burger, crispy chips and coke 😋. Very nice place, nice staff, nice service, good variety … well done! I went there around 7pm and they were busy … a lot of takeaway order 😅 I highly recommend!
Beautiful delicious food at a great price. Love the fresh seafood salad. The stockmans burger is a total meaty feast. The very best thing was the warm, friendly and super efficient service from the young man at the counter and the great kitchen staff. We will definitely be back again and again. 🤩
Visiting Roma we needed a quick lunch & we felt like fish & chips, we found this place with good reviews so we thought we’d give it a go but we didn’t expect how good it would be. Honestly it was one of the best fish & chips we have had in 3 years of travelling Australia ( and we have tried quite a few highly rated & much more expensive establishments that have been such a let down ) The Blue Shed battered Coral Trout was so tasty & the chips were crunchy & not those (dextrose) yellow coated sugar chips most of the F&C shops are selling . Friendly & helpful & fast service !!
This was the only place open on the weekend after Christmas. Service was very pleasant and the burgers were yummo!
We're at Roma for a sporting tournament last week. Saw the good reviews and decided to give Blue Shed a go. The pricing is very reasonable and I was expecting good fish and chips. We ordered 2 Coral Trout fillets (crumbed and battered), a dozen calamari, small chips and salad. The size (~25cm) of the Coral Trout took me by surprise, and the quality was beyond my expectations. It was flakey, juicy and sweetness of a quality reef fish, both crumbed and battered were just as good. My photo doesn't do it justice. I'm still trying to work out how they do it cos surely it has to be frozen at some stage. The calamari has a nice buoyancy to it, not rubbery or too soft, just right. Chips were good and salad was just that. The lady who served us was friendly and helpful. We wanted to have it one more time on Sunday after the tournament, unfortunately it was closed for Sunday lunch. Highly recommend anyone try them out if you're in Roma and looking for a good feed.
